New law won’t stop abortions

Why does Gov. Bryant hate women? The people of Mississippi voted against the Personhood. Are Bryant and Lt. Gov. Reeves so naive as to think that they can stop a woman from having an abortion if she really wants one?

I worked at Baptist Hospital in the late 1940s when abortion was illegal. A woman who really wanted an abortion would go to back alleys to have one and they would come to the hospital bleeding and have to be treated. Some of the doctors would not treat them. Some women died.

There was a safe way for women until the legislature and Bryant made that impossible.

I think that if a wife does not want any more children, her husband should be required to have a vasectomy. Isn’t this fair?

I thought the governor and legislature were elected to represent the people. Evidently, I learned the wrong thing in school, since they think they know what’s best for the people, not what people want.

The best way to increase your IQ is to be elected to the office of governor or to the legislature.
